Born and raised in Japan, Mari moved from Yokohama to Hawaii in 1999. She earned an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Hawaii Tokai International College and a Bachelor's Degree in Speech from the University of Hawaii. Mari is fluent in Japanese and English and has a marketing background developing and optimizing Japanese-translated websites. Her clients included hotels, banks, tour guides and retail companies. Taking a break from her marketing career, she started surfing competitively and traveled to Indonesia, Australia, Greece, Mexico, Taiwan and many other exciting places.Mari's hobbies include surfing, playing music, yoga, hiking, camping, and swimming. She is also a certified yoga instructor.Being able to make many new friends all over the world and to see the amazing places they call home, sparked Mari's dream to help people find the perfect home or getaway in Hawaii. She looks forward to using her unique skill set and Japanese influence in her real estate career. Mari's motto is to always put the customer first.
